Making Donations


The Granite Falls History Museum was created by and is run by volunteers. Individuals and businesses have generously donated the documents, photos, and objects that make up the collection. Our new building was built with donations and volunteer labor.

Anyone can can support the Museum. Make sure the museum continues to be available to the Granite Falls community through any of the following ways:

About Deducting Donations:
The Granite Falls Historical Society is a non-profit institution under Federal income tax regulations. Donations made to the Museum or the Historical Society for which the donor receives no value in return (such as food, prizes, items for purchase, and so on) may be deductible from federal income tax as a charitable donation.

Little Things Mean Alot

There are many ways to support the Granite Falls Historical Museum.
  • Make a small donation each time you visit the museum.
  • Specify the Granite Falls Historical Museum as the recipient of charitable gift rewards when you use your Granite Falls IGA Connect Card.  
  • Honor a child, parent, spouse or ancestor with a granite memorial brick such as those in the walkways of the Museum.
