Our museum and Historical Society operate without paid staff. A dedicated group of volunteers work to keep the museum open and free to the public, as well as catalog and digitize artifacts donated to the museum.

How to Join

Annual dues are $15.00 per family, $10 per individual, and $100 for a lifetime membership. Meetings are on the last Monday of each month at the Village Retirement Center, Alder Ave., at 7:00 PM.

Open and print the membership brochure. Fill out the information and mail the form, with your check, to:

You can also join at the museum during open hours on Sundays from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

Volunteer at the Museum

Are you interested in decorating for Christmas? Join the Christmas tree lighting event committee.
Do you garden and love to share your plants? Donate to the annual spring plant sale or volunteer to help sell plants at the sale.
Have a knack for publicizing events? Help write press releases, post signs, and get the word out about Museum activities.
Have computer skills? Spend a few hours a month entering new items into our catalog records.

Whatever your skills, we can find a way to use them!

Be a Docent

Docents work one Sunday afternoon a month greeting Museum visitors and tidying up the Museum. Learn to be a docent in just a couple Sundays of shadowing an experienced docent.
