As our area grows, our history and heritage become more important aspects of the community fabric. Honoring the contributions and lives of past residents, and of your own families, anchors the city’s roots in that fabric, and provides inspiration and direction for the future. A new museum, built to display our past, can become the focal point around which a bright future will be built. We still need your help. The building is complete, and displays have continued to expand since the Grand Opening in Oct 2007. But everything operates on volunteer labor and contributions. Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated. Be sure to click on the "Pictures" button below! A gift of $1000.00 or more, will secure your family’s name on the Memorial Wall in the museum's foyer. You may want to honor parents, grandparents or special friends with this gift. Because the Society is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, most gifts and donations are tax deductible. Should you wish to make a contribution that is "permanent" (e.g. will not be spent, but rather held in an endowment status, with only the interest used as operating funds), we would be excited to hear from you.
